Bankroll Management
Manage your bankroll to prevent excessive loss. (Don't put all your eggs in one basket). Follow a system to prevent wiping out all your funds on one bet and always bet responsibly.
Do your due diligence and find a "system" or "strategy" that works for you.
Unit Betting
First step of unit betting and following a bankroll system is to establish what your unit price is from your bankroll (Funds). Example: if you have $1,000 bankroll, then you would divide $1,000 into 100 units, which is $10 per unit.
Professional betters never place more than 1-3% of their bankroll on one bet and only ever increase their betting size based on their bankroll.
Value Selections
The only time you would place 3 units or 3% of your bankroll on a selection is if the odds are in your favour. A value selection or "value bet" is when a selection is considered undervalued and heavily in your favour.
However the market can quickly change.
